"Man Overboard" Pin-Up Tattoo Designs by "Sailor Jerry" Collins

Hand-painted tattoo flash by Norman Keith Collins (1911-1973), better known as "Sailor Jerry," Honolulu, Hawaii, ca. 1950. Featuring smoking hearts and pin-up girl designs, including a sailor girl waving maritime signal "O" (Oscar) flags, signaling "Man overboard." With original ink stamp "designed by Sailor Jerry" and "7N". Ink and watercolor on paper. Professionally framed with UV-protective glass. Verso with exhibition label from the Hammond Museum (2016).
